Finance
Chaired by the Vice President of Finance and guides the AMAC Chicago Chapter’s fiscal accountability through budgeting and expense planning. The Finance Committee is responsible for preparing the annual budget, making recommendations, and addressing issues relative to all financial policies of the AMAC Chicago Chapter.

Aviation & Government Affairs
Chaired by the Vice President of Aviation, this committee is a forum for local businesses to engage airport leaders within our jurisdiction to discuss and strategize on airport issues; stay abreast of airport opportunities, priorities, and events. This committee also focuses on developing and sustaining an inclusive environment throughout our jurisdiction that fosters an improved business and economic impact for our business members and associated airports.

Corporate Relations
Chaired by the Vice President of Corporate Relations, this committee is responsible for advising the President on matters related to fundraising from public and private sources and helping to secure critical financial resources for the AMAC Chicago Chapter. In addition, the chair of this Committee ensures that the Corporate Development Committee’s activities are aligned with the Strategic Plan and other committees’ goals and objectives, particularly, concerning strategies and initiatives for revenue generation and developing and nurturing corporate relationships.

Programs & Special Events
Chaired by the Vice President of Programs, this committee is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and events to attract and retain members in the Chicago area. This Committee is charged with ensuring plans and assignments are carried out for events and programs. The Committee will work to ensure that all areas of programming are operating efficiently while supporting the strategic goals of National.

Communications
Chaired by the Vice President of Public Relations, this committee develops and implement effective marketing strategies to promote a better understanding of AMAC’s mission and vision by:
> Developing goals, objectives, and strategies for communicating with different officers within the organization.
> Developing and managing external communication channels such as email, newsletters, intranet, or internal social media to ensure that members and the public are informed about chapter news, events, membership opportunities and growth efforts. Creating, updating, and maintaining the chapter’s website and social media accounts.
> Coordinating with other committees to ensure consistent messaging.

Membership
Chaired by the Vice President of Membership, this committee is responsible for the Chapter’s membership initiatives. Its specific responsibilities are establishing the annual membership drive, validating the organization’s membership list, and monitoring, and overseeing membership activities (such as solicitations, renewals, and delinquencies).
